Dr. Kelsey Horsting - Kitsilano Chiropractor in Vancouver!
Dr. Kelsey Horsting obtained her BSc from Simon Fraser University in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology while playing varsity basketball for the Clan. Her passion for a holistic approach to health brought her to Portland, Oregon, where she graduated summa cum laude and as class valedictorian from the University of Western States with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Horsting is certified by both the Canadian and American chiropractic governing bodies, and wholeheartedly embraces the concept of life-long learning. She is currently a certified Active Release Techniques® (ART) provider and has supplemented her knowledge with some of the most cutting-edge functional movement examination and rehabilitation seminars.
Dr. Horsting has also completed her 200-hour certification with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), and is is certified in The Webster Technique, a safe and gentle method to restore proper balance and function for pregnant mothers.
When it comes to her approach to health and wellness, Dr. Horsting strives to understand both the individual and the issue that brings them in to seek care. She believes in patient empowerment through education and supports active participation in achieving optimal health.
