Piper - infantile colic

At 6 weeks of age my daughter Piper was definitely colicky - inconsolably crying for up to five hours a day. My husband and I felt so helpless as nothing we did would help; we would just hold her until she wore herself out from screaming and fell asleep.

After the first week and two visits with Dr. Guenette Piper stopped arching her back in pain from what we guessed were digestive issues. And after the next week and two more visits her crying practically stopped - or at least could be explained by hunger or tiredness. I'd highly recommend Dr. Guenette and this treatment to other parents!

Kjara - life change
Imagine my surprise when I found myself coming to your office again, by coincidence, 3 years later. After talking to you on the phone recently I was unexpectedly shaken to the core, as it instantly returned me to that most terrible time of my life in which I first met you. It seems so long ago and I have often thought about writing you, to tell you how well I am doing now, but as time slipped by it became easier to procrastinate.

I was quickly referred to a neurologist and labelled with a condition called ‘cervical dystonia’. Being fairly sceptical already about ‘western’ style treatments for disease, I ignored the neurologist’s referral to the movement disorders clinic for botox injections to ease the tremors. I coped for a while without doing anything but at times I felt I couldn’t drive or watch tv.

Mel - holistic approach to health

I had to tell you that the book you lent me has become a 'defining book in my life'. After page 22, I realized that I had so many 'ah-ha' moments of clarity that I had used up all the scrap paper and backs of envelopes that were in my near vicinity. Now I always have paper & pen or my notebook computer (with my journal open) within reach of my hands. One of my 'ah-ha' moments is funny (to me at least) and I thought I would share this one. Having a doctor like you and reading about a surgeon talking about medicine in such a holistic way made me realize of few things.
